A Festive Puppet-Making Course in London
Get creative, enjoy the festive atmosphere and make something truly special this Christmas!
Join us for four cosy and creative evenings in our London puppet-making studio, where you'll learn how to design and make your very own puppet from scratch.
Whether you're making a unique handmade Christmas present for someone special, creating a puppet to keep for yourself, or simply looking for a fun and creative experience to share with a friend, this course is for you!
With mince pies, hot chocolate and plenty of festive cheer, we'll enjoy the magic of puppet making in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
No previous experience is needed, but experienced puppet makers are equally welcome! You'll be guided through the creative process, from your first ideas and designs to bringing your very own puppet to life in our dedicated puppet-making studio in London.
Design and create a puppet that is truly your own! Throughout the course, you'll have the creative freedom to design your own simple tabletop style puppet, choosing between a human-like character or an animal of your choice!
Whether you imagine a curious little creature, a mischievous character or something completely unexpected, you'll be encouraged to explore your ideas, experiment with different shapes and personalities, and create something unique. We'll be there to guide you through the making process, helping you turn your imagination into a finished puppet.
With a maximum of just six participants, there will be plenty of individual guidance, time to experiment and opportunities to enjoy the experience together.
Come on your own, bring a friend or make it a special festive activity to share with someone you love.
And the best part? You'll finish the course with your very own handmade tabletop puppet, ready to take home in time for Christmas!

Dates: Wednesdays, 18 and 25 November, 2 and 9 December 2026
Time: 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
📍 Location: Create Puppetry Studio, Alperton, London ( on the Picadilly Line)
Duration: Four evenings (10 hours in total)
Group size: Maximum six participants
Experience: Beginners welcome!
Included: All puppet-making materials, comprehensive expert puppet making tuition, use of the puppet making studio and tools, hot chocolate, mince pies and festive treats, as well as indivitual suport between classes.
Course fee: £250 per person ( early bird discount until 1st November! )
